Davido Set To Perform At The Qatar Closing Ceremony

Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke (popularly known as Davido) is set to perform at the ongoing FIFA world cup closing ceremony in Qatar.

It was learnt that the “risky” crooner has concluded all plans to grace the FIFA stage on 18th December 2022, his team confirms.

He was supposed to perform at the opening ceremony a few weeks ago but couldn’t honour the invitation because of the tragic demise of his son, Ifeanyi.

This will be his first stage performance since he went under the radar following the death of his first son.

He will now be performing alongside other globally recognised musicians at the closing ceremony next week.

Normally, artists who released a theme song or anthem for the World Cup perform at the ceremony. and Davido collaborated with Trinidad Cardona and Aisha on ‘Better Together’.

A while back, lovers of music and 30BG fans gathered on Thursday night, 1st December, to honour Nigerian superstar singer, Davido and pay tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Following Ifeanyi’s tragic demise, Davido, who has shunned social media since the incident, postponed all of his shows and the much-anticipated AWAY music festival until 2023. Even Davido’s 30th birthday went without any celebration.

However, to show their love and devotion for the 30BG boss, fans organised a concert for him.
