President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday approved the appointment of the Deputy Inspector-General, DIG, Usman Alkali Baba as the Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
This was disclosed by the Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Maigari at the presidential villa, Abuja.

He immediately replaces Mohammed Adamu whose tenure was recently extended by 6 months.
