The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has lost his mother, Alhaja Limotalai Arapaja today.
Amb. Taofeek Arapaja who was the Deputy Governor of Oyo state between 2007 to 2011’s mother died in the early hours of today after a brief illness at a ripe age of 95.
This was made known in a statement personally issued by Amb. Taofeek Arapaja and made available to newsmen.
The remains of late Alhaja Limotalai Arapaja will be buried today at her residence opposite St. David’s Primary School, Kudeti, along Yejide road, Ibadan by 4pm.
The statement reads:
Ina lilahi waina lilahi rojiuna
With total submission to the Will of Almighty Allah, I regret to announce the death of my mother, Alhaja Limotalai Arapaja whose death occurred this morning at a ripe age of 95.
My dearest mother was a devout Muslim, a consummate mother who gave all she could to ensure qualify life for her children, and all that had contact with her during her lifetime.
My late mother left behind children, grand children and great grand children.
She will be buried according to Islamic rites by 4pm today.
May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings and admit her to aljanat fridaus.
