Arapaja Felicitates De-Damak, Wife on Their Installation as Aare & Yeye Aare of Ibadanland

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland (Edo & Delta States), Alhaji Daud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak) and his wife on their installation as the Aare and Yeye Aare of Ibadan by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mahood Lekan Balogun today.

In a congratulatory statement issued by Ambassador Arapaja and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim shortly after the installation by the Olubadan at his Alarere palace, Iwo Road, Ibadan, Ambassador Arapaja expressed his delight at the honour bestowed on the Aare Musulumi, describing it as evidence of his extraordinary contributions to the entire muslim ummah and the society as a whole.

Arapaja who described the Chieftaincy title as a well deserved honour on an illustrious son of Ibadanland, stressed that the recognition given to his eminence, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola is a testament to his sterling contributions to the development of Ibadanland, Oyo State and by extension, the South West states including Edo and Delta States in Nigeria.

He said: “One of the illustrious sons of Ibadan that is making us proud is his Eminence, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak) and I am always proud to identify with him in moments like this. I congratulate him and his amiable wife on the conferment of chieftaincy title by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mahood Lekan Balogun, as the Aare and Yeye Aare of Ibadanland. It is my strong belief that Ibadanland and Oyo State will undoubtedly continue to experience rapid growth and development.
