Some of the Executives of APC Professionals Council, Oyo State chapter, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Issac Ajiboye Omodewu and made him the grand patron of the council in Oyo State.
The purpose of the visit to Chairman was to make him the grand patron of the council in Oyo State and also to discuss the summit the council is planning to organize ahead of the party’s primary election coming up this month.
While presenting the certificate of recognition to Hon. Omodewu in his office at APC secretariat, Oke Ado, the Oyo State Coordinator of the council, Dr Bamidele Gold said the council was delighted to have the state chairman of the party as the grand patron of the council, postulating that his joy knew no bounds for this development.
His words; “It’s a beautiful development to have Hon. Isaac Omodewu as our grand patron.”
The certificate reads: In recognition of your contributions to the ruling party members through your insightful and resolute inputs of managing governance in Nigeria as well as within our great party, the APC. Duly recognized Hon. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu as our patron Oyo State.”
The Coordinator stated that the APC Professionals Council, as a party’s support group was founded solely to help in strengthening the party by guiding and providing professional solutions to the challenges facing the national and to promote progressive agenda.
He added that part of the activities of the council include highlighting the strategies to encourage more young professionals to join the progressive party, APC towards the preparation for the 2023 general elections and ensure that it wins at the federal, state and local government levels.
He described Omodewu as a wonderful man, easy going with experience to lead the party in the State to electoral victory come 2023..
Omodewu in his responses recognized the activities of the council as a supporting group by the national body of the party, promising to help the council in every area to achieve its lofty objectives.
