2023: U.K. Support Group donates campaign vehicle to NNPP Reps Candidate, Abioye

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, a United Kingdom based support group championing the election of Hon. Abioye Mathew Adegboyega for Ogo Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency under the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), “Divine Journey Mandate” has donated a brand new vehicle to his campaign team.

Speaking with journalists on Wednesday, the Coordinator of the group, Comrade Oluwakayode Ogunseitan said the gesture was to assist the aspiration of Hon. Mathew Abioye’s logistics to ease his campaign tours and movement during the electioneering period, urging the electorates in Ogo Oluwa and Surulere federal constituency to rally round his aspiration.

According to Com. Ogunseitan, “the gift was our little contribution and quota towards the success and emergence of Hon. Abioye’s candidature as well as to encourage and support his aspiration to win the 2023 House of Representatives election for Ogo Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency.”

Ogunseitan noted that Hon. Abioye popularly called “Elder” has the right credentials, experience and capacity to take the said federal constituency to a greater height, pointing out that his track records as a former two term lawmaker in the State House of Assembly afforded him the opportunity of knowing his constituency better and what the constituents need in terms of developmental projects and facilitate them from the federal government.

He said, “ we need to encourage him, support him as Nigerians living in the Diaspora to contribute our quota to support him emerge the next federal lawmaker that will represent the Ogo Oluwa and Surulere constituency because we know his capacity when it comes to lawmaking.

As a father to one of us here in the United Kingdom, Sunday Abioye who is doing fine in his career, since we know Hon. Abioye, he has been using his wealth and connections to assist many young Nigerians to develop their talents not minding their background or tribe. This is the type of person we should be supporting irrespective of under which political platform such person is contesting. We are sure that he will emerge, we have prayed and believe that God has answered our prayer and we are hopeful.” Ogunseitan optimistic.

Responding, the House of Representatives hopeful, Hon. Abioye who was elated on the huge support he received from his Diaspora supporters, thanked them for their gesture and support, adding that he will not renege in his campaign promise of quality representations and better life for his constituents if elected.
